I think that sums up the thing that is most wrong with @TV, the 360, and PS3- they are locked down not only using DRM but limitation of file formats popular for so-called piracy. I just discovered Plex on Monday and am quite happy moving my video library from my 360 to a mini with Plex on my 42" LCD. I'm quite happy and can't wait for more goodies from Plex and XBMC.
