I am having zero issues with the network speeds. I also have an xbox with xbmc on the same network and they both work very well. The only time I had an issue was when I used password protection, that seemed to cause issues at one point. I am playing HD content (1080 mkv) over the network without issues. Mange

I have my PC as a "server" for all my media. With my XBOX it goes really fast to browse and play movies. Fixed in the next release. @spiff: There is definitely a transition curve for OS X. You need to approach it with an open mind and give it a few months. I don't know a single person who gave it an honest try and said "$%^% this, I'm going back to Linux|Windows". @kaido: That would be a good bet, but not before Python support.
